Places-Please Templates and Test Sheets
5 Easy Steps to Download and Save Templates or Test Sheets
- Choose the template button below that matches your label/test sheet.
- Download template by:
· Right clicking on link (Ex.: Right Click HERE to Download the Rectangle Template for Text Only).
· Select "Save Target As" or "Save Link As."
· Select a folder on your computer to save template in. We recommend saving files to your desktop to make them easy to locate.
· Click "Save."
- Choose pictures or icons from our Pictures & Icons, and download the same way as the template.
- Open template file you just downloaded.
- Place cursor where you want to add your picture and/or text, and insert picture or type text.
- Note: To insert a picture using Microsoft Word, click "Insert" at the top of your page then select "Picture" and then select "From File." You will need to navigate to the folder where you saved the image or icon you downloaded from Places-Please.
- Note: If template appears blank, go to "Layout" and click "View Gridlines."
- Note: If toolbar does not appear on template, make sure you "right clicked" on the link to download.
Helpful Tips:
Make sure you put the paper all the way back in the printer so the printer can grab it correctly. Insert label sheet the same way as indicated on the test sheet (larger margin in first).
Print out test sheet to check alignment of your pictures. Slight adjustments may be needed.
To adjust picture size, click on the image to highlight, hold down shift key, click and hold the corner of the picture, and move the mouse up or down to make the picture larger or smaller.
If template appears blank, go to "Layout" and click "View Gridlines."
All Places-Please templates are in Microsoft Word format.

Right Click HERE then click "Save Target As" to download the Rectangle Template for Images & Text
- Note: Pictures can be placed on both sides of the text (as shown above) by placing
the first picture in the rectangle box, typing the text and then placing the second picture
in the same box after the text.
- Note: If template appears blank, go to "Layout" and click "View Gridlines."
Right Click HERE then click "Save Target As" to download the Oval Template for Full Sheet (8.5 x 11)
- Note: Oval Templates appear as rectangles, but when printed will fit oval labels.
- Note: If your sheet is perforated, please refer to the half-sheet template found below.
- Note: Full sheets have 6 labels across.
- Note: If template appears blank, go to "Layout" and click "View Gridlines."
Right Click HERE then click "Save Target As" to download the Oval Template for Half Sheet (8.5 x 5.5)
- Note: Oval Templates appear as rectangles, but when printed will fit oval labels.
- Note: Half sheets come as a perforated "whole" label sheet. Use this template for these labels.
Tear sheet apart (into 2 "half sheets") or load into printer each time from margin end.
- Note: Half-sheets have 5 labels across.
- Note: If template appears blank, go to "Layout" and click "View Gridlines."
